2. Yes, there is a prequel to Crown Duel. Yes, this is the best thing to happen since sliced bread. In fact, it's kind of more awesome than sliced bread. Like, I'd rather have this book than bread that happens to be cut into pieces. I'm just saying.

That book (Crown Duel) got me through a whole day of family visits in gleeful complete-other-world-ness.
I know, it's AMAZING. My copy utterly fell apart.

Just wanted to say (doesn't have anything to do with Crown Duel, but...) that if you like dystopias, try Unwind by Neal Shusterman. It's a let's-chop-up-our-kids-for-their-organs dystopia. It is very, VERY good.
(Actually, that might not be a dystopia. Still good, though.)
