A Prequel

The prequel to Crown Duel 1 is OUT!2 (Well, technically it comes out on August 1st, but that's not the point.) It's called A Stranger to Command (formerly known as Shevraeth in Marloven Hess, if perhaps you read it on Sherwood Smith's website). It's small-press, and therefore pretty hard to find, but you can get it online, so buy it now! Now, I say!
Also, go to Sherwood Smith's website and then read everything she's ever written.

1. Also known as Eli's favorite book ever.
2. Yes, there is a prequel to Crown Duel. Yes, this is the best thing to happen since sliced bread. In fact, it's kind of more awesome than sliced bread. Like, I'd rather have this book than bread that happens to be cut into pieces. I'm just saying.

Yours,

There's a prequel?! Geez, where have I been lately?

Must buy.

Oooooh, shiny.
*goes to seek out*

That book (Crown Duel) got me through a whole day of family visits in gleeful complete-other-world-ness.

Just wanted to say (doesn't have anything to do with Crown Duel, but...) that if you like dystopias, try Unwind by Neal Shusterman. It's a let's-chop-up-our-kids-for-their-organs dystopia. It is very, VERY good.

(Actually, that might not be a dystopia. Still good, though.)
